Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $43,908.80

Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include design, organization, and maintenance of the Student Information System graduation and curriculum records. Organization and implementation of the bi-annual Commencement ceremonies, including graduation, technology maintenance, planning and logistics, and oversight of all related functions. Data entry, alignment, reporting, and centralized curriculum management in accordance with federal, state, accrediting agencies, and University policies and processes. Participates in the development and implementation of initiatives of strategic importance to the mission of the university and SAEM. Conducts independent research on complex integrated projects. Interacts directly with university administrators, faculty, students, and alumni as required. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.

Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
