Job Duties and Responsibilities: Answer phones, emails, and interact with customers who visit the office. Become familiar with the programs and activities offered and disseminate basic information to customers. Provide operational and program support for the Agents. Operate a personal computer to enter data, draft and revise letters and responses to routine inquiries, prepare flyers for events, and reserve meeting spaces for program activities. Assist 4-H Youth Development volunteers and parents with registration, project materials, and policies and procedures. Maintain the county website and social media platforms. Become proficient in the NMSU systems used to perform office procedures. Prepare financial documentation for operational expenses such as utility payments, Agent travel, and program registration. Track monthly office expenditures and maintain procurement card reconciliation. Perform basic administrative duties as needed such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc., mail sorting and distribution, and maintain office supplies and equipment. Maintain Civil Rights files and contact reporting. Maintain office hours while Agents are in the field delivering programs.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 1 years of relevant experience, or higher degree.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical Effort: Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.
Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
