Target Hourly/Salary Rate: $43,908.80 - $54,885.74 (Commensurate with qualifications.)

Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 1.0

FLSA Status: Exempt

Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

Contingent Upon Funding: Contingent upon external funding

Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Youth Career Navigator provides participant-centered navigation services to in-school youth and out-of-school youth enrolled in the Youth Link program. The position supports participants in developing and achieving education, training, and employment goals through intake, assessment, career planning, workforce preparation activities, work-based learning experiences, support service coordination, and ongoing progress monitoring. The Youth Career Navigator collaborates with workforce, education, employer, and community partners to support participant success, facilitate access to services, and promote progression along career and education pathways that lead to career and economic mobility.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 7 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.
