Appointment Full-time Equivalency: 1.00

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Support engineering team by performing research and assisting in the development of RF Electronic Countermeasures (ECM). Document RF, analog, digital, and power systems to include creation of block diagrams and verification of schematics. Provide technical support to the engineering and operations team by diagnosing, troubleshooting RF, analog, digital, and power systems. Provide input for progress and status reports. Must be able to support field work to include operations, missions, and testing across a range of environments and conditions, including variable work schedules and exposure to austere or adverse weather conditions. Travel is required for field operations, mission support and testing. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
Associate's Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.

Equivalent Qualifications: 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with RF principals as related to EW to include high power RF
Familiarity with RF, analog, digital test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, RF signal generators, network analyzers
Provide technical support to the engineering and operations team by conducting research and assisting in documentation and troubleshooting of RF, analog, digital, and power systems. Ability to work in team environment .Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Special Certification/Licensure: 
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain a DoD clearance and maintain clearance throughout employment. This position is subject to random drug testing in compliance with its drug-free workforce requirements.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Physical Effort: Moderate physical activity.

Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.

Risk: Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
