Job Summary/Basic Functions We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Director of Environmental Health/Safety. The Director provides strategic, university-wide leadership in establishing and overseeing plans, procedures, and policies pursuant to federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and industry-based best practices intended to eliminate or reduce work-related injuries and environmental pollution. The Director works to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety programs for students, faculty, and staff. The Director provides support to departments in facilitating their efforts to integrate health and safety into daily operations and planning. |
