This individual will have the knowledge and the ability to perform and manage a variety of business and administrative functions, including, but not limited to, accounting, budget, finance, procurement, and office services/systems. This individual will have excellent management and organizational skills, extensive computer skills using Microsoft Office applications, excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent attention to detail and accuracy. This individual will have the ability to locate inefficiencies and make corrections, work without supervision and be able to effectively interact with students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

Capital Outlay Project Manager in UMW
Closes:
Administer construction of assigned projects with oversight by Capital Outlay Director and in accordance with contract documents, the Commonwealth of Virginia Construction and Professional Services Manual, and state procurement regulations and requirements. Experience and familiarity with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Construction and Professional Services Manual, Virginia Uniform State Building Code, erosion and sediment control and stormwater regulations, computer-aided design (CAD), and Primavera or similar scheduling software are preferred.

Instructor - University Tennis Clinics in UMW

UMW Athletics is seeking qualified individuals to serve as a pickleball or tennis instructor for the University Tennis Center. This individual is expected to assist the Director of the Tennis Center with teaching and overseeing clinics and lessons during the fall and spring semesters as well as during the summer months. Duties for this position include, but not limited to clinic setup, instruction and communication with participants and parents. Pay is $20/hour for clinics and $30/hour for private lessons.
