Department Summary The Counseling Program at UNT Dallas cultivates skilled practitioners dedicated to fostering wellness across diverse populations, from children to adults, families to communities, both locally and globally. Through two CACREP-accredited master's tracks in school counseling and mental health counseling, students develop into culturally-responsive change agents under the guidance of experienced faculty who bring rich backgrounds in clinical practice and research. Our program emphasizes hands-on experiential learning alongside evidence-based practices, providing students with authentic training experiences. Graduates emerge as passionate leaders and diversity advocates, well-prepared to make meaningful impacts in the communities they serve. |
Position Overview Qualified individuals are being sought to establish a pool of readily available talented persons from which these vacancies are filled as they occur. The adjunct instructor is responsible for teaching masters-level counseling graduate courses face to face, in hybrid and online formats using Canvas. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about teaching and student success. UNT Dallas is hiring for a variety of Counseling and School classes as we begin to further grow our programs, which may include the following positions to begin, Fall 2024 semester.
