Department Summary Drawing on UNT's trail blazing heritage as the first graduate program in the nation to be accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis, and housed in UNT’s College of Education, the UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) provides clinical services to support learning, development, community participation, and quality of life of individuals on the autism spectrum. In addition to taking excellent care of children with autism and their families, KFAC is equally committed to helping young professionals build careers in autism (incl. UNT students from many academic departments and programs) and conducting research to help scale evidence-based practices in community settings. |
Position Overview The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) is seeking a full-time Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional clinical services to young children on the autism spectrum. The primary responsibility of the BCBA will be to design, implement, and modify direct intervention and instructional programs for 5-7 young children with autism, utilizing evidence-based interventions. The position will involve close supervision by KFAC’s Clinical Director, leverage connections with UNT faculty from Behavior Analysis, Special Education, and Speech Language Pathology, and include opportunities to collaborate with UNT's Center for Young Children (our campus preschool) in a community integration setting. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education or Psychology and 2 years of related work experience. |
