Department Summary The UNT Dallas College of Law Faculty Support Department provide valuable tactical and administrative help to our faculty in support of our mission to educate leaders who make a difference in the world. The primary goal is to enable faculty to focus on teaching, research, and student mentorship by handling logistical, technical, and administrative tasks. |

Position Overview The Faculty Support Group at UNT Dallas College of Law works closely with assigned Law School faculty members to provide highlevel administrative and operational support. Duties include: Serve as training and troubleshooting resource for faculty members to ensure that their work is handled smoothly and efficiently. Coordinate and organize events, including faculty colloquia, workshops, symposia, conferences, and other events.Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support the teaching and research activities of the Law School faculty members. Help in the production of various publications by faculty members. Exercise judgment on how to best utilize computer applications and class equipment to help faculty members with their needs. |

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent three (3) years of general office or clerical experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. |
|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Basic MS Office skills. Ability to problemsolve and make decisions. Ability to effectively communicate. Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures, and terminology of assigned function. Skill in composing routine letters and preparing reports. Skill in recording and compiling material for reports. |
