Department Summary The Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) comprises two academic disciplines: Information Systems and Management Science. The ITDS department has over 40 research and teaching faculty whose mission is to conduct cutting-edge research and prepare the next generation of information systems, management science, and business analytics professionals. Our department offers degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels. Five of our degrees are STEM-designated — BS and MS in IS, BBA, MBA, and MS in Business Analytics. We also offer PhDs in Information Systems, Management Science, and Information Assurance. ITDS has a solid track record of producing well-prepared, motivated, and ultimately successful business professionals and academicians. |

Position Overview The Department of Information Technology & Decision Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses arise periodically, depending on the department's teaching needs. |

Minimum Qualifications Candidates for teaching undergraduate BCIS and DSCI courses (2xxx-4xxx) must possess a master's degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in IS and/or MS or a closely related field. Teaching and/or practical experience may be required for some courses. |

Preferred Qualifications A terminal degree in the discipline is preferred. |
