The Career Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Career Coach for the College of Visual Arts and Design (CVAD) with a particular focus on internship placement to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Interface with students as they seek guidance concerning employment, career development, internships, and career related issues. Lead job market research efforts for CVAD in order to provide current and relevant data to CVAD staff, faculty, students, and Career Center colleagues. Craft systematic internship pathways and external relationships in conjunction with CVAD leadership. Develop and conduct workshops and seminars on a variety of topics related to internships and employment, assess their effectiveness, and implement changes needed to engage and enhance student preparedness for the workplace. Provide marketing of career services to the college. Provide assistance to other units in the Career Center and perform other duties as assigned for optimal operational success of the Career Center. Update and maintain relevant information on the Career Center website for the college.
