Job Summary The Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor is responsible to teach basic and advanced levels of swimming techniques and ensure the safety of the swimmers at the pool. To monitor and maintain safety within the pool area. It is responsible for administering first aid, and instructing swim classes, supervising the swimmers, maintaining the pool area. The Lifeguard/Swimming Instructor works according to set procedures under direct supervision. |

Minimum Education & Experience High school graduation or GED preferred. |
Special Certifications & Licenses
Valid Texas Driver’s License
American Red Cross First Aid & Safety Community CPR or CPR for the Professional.

Average judgment; must recognize and resolve problems. type of procedure to apply, where to refer call or correspondence without specified destination. May involve freedom in selection of work methods among approved routines, setting of priorities, or sequencing of tasks within established schedules.
