Job Summary The Traffic Signal Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and modifying traffic signs, maintaining signal timing and researching new sign requests. These duties are performed for public streets and City right of ways. Employee works independently in the field and is responsible for decision making requiring technical discretion, sound judgement, and familiarity with a variety of codes, ordinances, and construction methods. The employee develops work methods and sequences direct supervision. |

Responsibility for Equipment & Property
Responsible for assigned equipment/property used outside of office; use of City vehicle.
