About this Position
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages the specifications, quotations, maintenance, repair, installation, deployment, monitoring, documentation, testing, and security of campus IT systems, including network security, data protection, and compliance with security policies. Responsible for information security policy development, training, compliance monitoring, and coordination of security incident investigation and reporting. Ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data services. Should strive to provide 99% security uptime.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer-related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in IT or network security.
- Proven experience and expertise in IT security, including network security, data protection, and compliance.
- Proven history of ethical and professional behavior.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Professional industry certifications are highly desirable (i.e. Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft).
