The project focuses on the auditory issues in FXS and underlying mechanisms including myelination and will involve in vitro physiological experiments, behavioral assays, complex mouse colony management, and anatomical experiments. The McCullagh lab is dedicated to the professional development of all lab members and there will be opportunities to develop skills in teaching, mentorship and outreach.
