GRIT Mentors have a roster of student athletes to implement research-based strategies for thinking critically beyond basic recall and memorization in reading and math. We are looking for reading, math, writing, and study skills mentors. Job Responsibilities: Attend orientation and monthly training Mentor and tutor students on a weekly basis Meet weekly with the Director once a week Complete daily reports for each assigned student Develop, plan, prepare, and implement the strategic approach to high dosage tutoring aligned with training Track, analyze, and synthesize student progress data based on high dosage tutoring model Communicate with the Coordinator Arrive in a timely manner Perform other duties as assigned All tutoring will take place in the Prentice Gautt Academic Center.
