Pay Range: Targeted salary of $14.00 - $15.50, based on experience.

Work Schedule: M-F 6am-8pm, Weekends 1pm-6pm and some after-hours special events; Shifts vary depending on class schedule and availability.

Position Introduction

Provides lifeguarding, life safety support, and customer service. Maintains concentrated observation of swimmers in duty area in order to anticipate problems. Enforces all policies and regulations and participates in regular in-service trainings.

Required Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Current Lifeguard certification
  • Current CPR for Lifeguards or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification
  • Current First-Aid certification
