Join a fast-paced, service-driven team that plays a key role in connecting talented individuals with meaningful opportunities across the university community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with a variety of departments, and creating a positive experience for applicants from the very first interaction. Serving as a central resource for recruitment and hiring support, this role helps ensure hiring processes run smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer service.

The successful candidate will support a wide range of recruitment and applicant management functions while partnering closely with hiring departments, applicants, and campus stakeholders. From guiding candidates through the application process to assisting departments with job postings and recruitment strategies, this position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the university’s hiring success and workforce development efforts. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining job listings, supporting recruitment initiatives for student and staff positions, and helping departments move qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

This role also serves as an important technical and customer support resource for both applicants and departmental users. The selected candidate will assist with troubleshooting recruiting system issues, answering questions related to applications and hiring procedures, and providing guidance on resumes, cover letters, and required hiring documentation. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential, as the position regularly coordinates background screenings, driver’s license checks, and other pre-employment processes while ensuring timely communication with applicants, hiring managers, and external vendors.

In addition to supporting day-to-day recruitment operations, this position contributes to several impactful hiring and workforce development programs designed to connect students and job seekers with valuable employment opportunities. The role offers variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to participate in special projects that enhance recruitment services and improve the overall hiring experience for both applicants and departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to a diverse campus community.
