The Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at Stephenson Cancer Center has an exciting opportunity for a Programmer Analyst to support technology-enabled behavioral health and cancer prevention research. The Programmer Analyst is responsible for writing, developing, updating, testing, and maintaining programs, software, and systems to meet research and University needs. This position provides technical support and training, assists with implementation of digital research tools, and works closely with investigators and study teams to support participant-facing and staff-facing systems. Why This Role Matters HPRC's research addresses behaviors that significantly affect cancer risk and overall health, including tobacco use, health behavior change, and cancer screening. HPRC also develops community-facing tools and digital resources that support informed decision-making about cancer prevention and screening. As a Programmer Analyst, you will focus on digital tool development and analytics, including websites, app-related workflows, algorithm-based risk assessment tools, dashboards, data tracking systems, REDCap/INSIGHT support, and AI-supported content and workflow tools.
