Position Introduction:

The Facility and Administrative Assistant is a federal work study position responsible for providing direct support to the Facilities Manager and overall administrative and facility related support for the Center for Children and Families Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of facility & respond to maintenance requests
  • Lead annual furniture and equipment inventory project
  • Manage maintenance of electronic & metal keys for user facility access
  • Cover the front desk and assist visitors with various program needs
  • Handle confidential personnel information
  • Assist with activity/event preparation & implementation
  • Active member of Board Lead Safety Committee
  • Provide clerical, data entry, and technical support to the executive team
  • Active member of C.A.R.E. Committee (Celebrate/Acknowledge/Rejuvenate/Engage)
  • Maintain a position-specific training plan outlining professional goals

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • High School Diploma

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to operate a personal computer using e-mail, word processing, excel and other applications related to assigned duties
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and volunteers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to organizational change
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Ability to adhere to agreed upon schedule
  • Approved background check
