Position Introduction:
The Warehouse Assistant supports the daily operations of The Mission's warehouse by receiving, sorting, organizing, and moving donated merchandise and supplies. This position plays an important role in ensuring donated items are processed efficiently and safely to support the organization's mission. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Duties:
Receive, unload, and sort donated merchandise and other incoming shipments.
Organize merchandise and supplies in designated warehouse storage areas.
Move inventory between receiving, storage, and retail or distribution areas as needed.
Assist with preparing merchandise for display, distribution, or storage.
Maintain accurate organization of inventory and warehouse materials.
Help load and unload donations and deliveries.
Keep warehouse aisles, workstations, and storage areas clean, safe, and free of hazards.
Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization projects.
Follow established safety procedures when handling merchandise and equipment.
Provide support during donation drives, special events, or other organizational needs as assigned.
Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
