Position Introduction:
The Student Athletics Photographer contributes to the overall vision and goals of Oklahoma Athletics by capturing moments and engaging content that tells the story of our athletics programs and student-athletes through photos. Student photographers assist the Director and Assistant Director of Photography in coverage/support for all photography-related requests and coverage of the University’s 21 varsity sports, collaborating with the creative staffs to elevate departmental initiatives while ensuring a cohesive style across all department photography.
Essential Functions:
Support and help organize the department’s digital archive, performing accurate editing, correction, and photo organization
Collaborate with the Director of Photography, Assistant Director of Photography to ensure adequate coverage of games, photoshoots, department events and functions, maintaining a cohesive style across all sports
Ability to work some nights and weekends with occasional travel to cover events and functions
Collaborate with other departments such as Communications, Marketing, SoonerVision and coaching staff to ensure needs are met
Required Education and Experience:
Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.

Department Preferences:
Photography experience must include in-game photography for various sports
Knowledgeable of basic photography-related software, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom Classic
