The University of Oklahoma Information Technology department is seeking an IT System Support Administrator to serve as a dedicated technical resource embedded within the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. This position plays a critical role in supporting the technology that powers instruction, media production, research, and daily operations across one of the university's most technology-intensive academic environments. Working closely with faculty, staff, students, and the College's IT Strategist, this position provides advanced support for instructional computing environments, endpoint management, storage systems, identity and access administration, academic technology deployments, and specialized software platforms. The successful candidate will help maintain and enhance technology environments that support journalism, strategic communication, media production, broadcasting, digital storytelling, and professional learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical work with relationship building, problem solving, and project coordination.
