Position Introduction: The Department of Fitness and Recreation seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional to serve as the Fitness and Recreational Administrative Supervisor-Membership. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sarkeys Fitness Center, this position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the department. The Administrative Supervisor-Membership provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational support while helping advance programs, services, and engagement opportunities that enhance the wellbeing of the university community. This position is responsible for coordinating departmental administration, managing records and agreements, overseeing all sales and operations of the Sarkeys Fitness Center front desk, including the hiring, managing, and development of approximately 15 student membership attendants and one full-time employee while implementing National Association of Colleges and Employers career readiness skills training with student employees. Serves as a primary department point of contact for the Fusion membership software system. Processes and analyzes daily deposits and assists with budgetary and financial planning. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for policy and procedure implementation to include university policies and standard use policies such as the Payment Card Industry standards, sales procedures, and customer service interaction; assist with the coordination and teaching of CPR/FA/AED classes, updating department website, department-wide communication efforts, and integration of the front desk operations into the department’s emergency response and weather preparedness plans. Serves collaboratively as a weekend on-call throughout the school year. Through strong organizational skills, professionalism, and commitment to customer service, the Administrative Supervisor-Membership contributes to an inclusive, welcoming, and efficient environment that supports the mission of Fitness and Recreation, the Division of Student Affairs, and the University of Oklahoma. Required Education and Experience:
