Position Introduction:

Manages the Animal Laboratory Facility by supervising personnel, maintaining inventory, conducting research, acting as a liaison, and training.

Duties include: 

Technical Services Team providing support to USDA covered species, ABSL# studies, colony management, and weekend support, lab and TSU inventory.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Animal Science or related field.
  •  36 months experience in a laboratory animal facility.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months experience.

Department Preferences:

Technical Services Team providing support to USDA covered species, ABSL# studies, colony management, and weekend support, lab and TSU inventory.
