CPB Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project in Melbourne, supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth.

This is not a maintenance role. You will drive construction, MEP integration and commissioning across a complex, high value build, leading large teams and setting the pace on programme, performance and outcomes.

The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle delivery of a hyperscale data centre, ensuring safe, efficient and high quality outcomes.

• Lead end to end project delivery across time, cost, quality and safety
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across construction, MEP and commissioning
• Drive programme, sequencing and interface management across multiple work packages
• Oversee subcontractors and trade partners to ensure performance and alignment
• Manage key stakeholder relationships across client, design and commercial teams
• Lead delivery through testing, commissioning and practical completion
• Ensure strong governance, reporting and commercial performance
• Build and lead high performing teams, driving accountability and outcomes

About You
• Degree qualified in engineering, construction or related discipline
• Proven experience delivering data centre or mission critical projects
• Strong understanding of MEP intensive environments and building services integration
• Experience managing complex, multi package projects at scale
• Commercially astute, with strong cost, risk and contract management capability
• Confident leader with the ability to drive performance across large teams
