We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. We are seeking experienced professionals with a track record of delivering data centre projects and an understanding of the complexities of hyperscale and enterprise-grade environments. Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of a major project, providing technical, commercial and construction leadership across your allocated work packages. You will be responsible for driving project outcomes safely, on time and within budget while supporting and mentoring members of the broader engineering team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning, procurement and delivery of major construction work packages
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme milestones
• Managing short and long-term construction planning, including look-ahead schedules, programming and resource allocation
• Monitoring project performance against budget, programme, quality and safety requirements
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and opportunities to optimise delivery outcomes
• Supporting project reporting, forecasting, cost control and stakeholder management
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with project and legislative requirements
• Providing guidance and mentoring to Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Graduates

What You'll Bring

• Experience delivering large-scale construction or infrastructure projects valued at $150M+
• Proven ability to manage complex work packages valued between $1M and $10M+
• Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, cost control, contract administration and project reporting
• Demonstrated experience in construction planning, procurement and subcontractor management
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies and project delivery processes
• Building project experience highly regarded
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
