The Opportunity
We are hiring a Research Fellow for an exciting opportunity in Explainable AI, supporting Australian Research Council-funded projects at the intersection of AI and design.
This position supports an Australian Research Council-funded project focused on Explainable Artificial Creativity. The project aims to develop explainable models for creative AI systems to foster more productive and satisfying interactions between AI and human co-creators.
The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and developing generative AI and deep learning systems, including working with transformer models. This expertise will contribute to the development of new human-computer co-creative systems. Strong research experience with state-of-the-art AI systems is essential, and an interest in creativity or an emerging creative practice is highly desirable.
