Your Impact
Lead the national field sales and distributor strategy and transformation program across Asahi’s Away From Home channel, driving sustainable growth, market leadership and commercial performance. This is a highly strategic leadership role, balancing long-term planning with disciplined execution across a diverse customer base including Retail State, Distributors, Petrol & Convenience and RECA
Key Accountabilities:
- Set and deliver national field sales and distributor strategy across AFH
- Own end-to-end commercial performance including P&L, volume, revenue and profit
- Lead state sales teams to develop and execute short and long-term sales plans
- Build strong customer partnerships and drive growth across contracted and new customers
- Drive customer acquisition strategy and strengthen retention across the channel
- Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, Category, RGM) to deliver category and portfolio growth
- Lead forecasting and ensure delivery against key financial targets (NSV, GCSC)
- Uplift capability and embed a high-performance, accountable sales culture
- Lead, coach and develop a large national sales team (150+ team, multiple leaders)
- Drive continuous improvement, productivity and organisational effectiveness
About You:
- 10+ years’ experience in senior commercial or sales leadership within FMCG
- Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing a national P&L
- Track record of delivering growth through customer strategy and execution
- Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn insights into results
- Experience in alcohol, beverages or coffee highly regarded
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex and matrixed environment
