Business Development Manager – Coffee / Away From Home
Your Impact
As our next Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of growing our coffee category within the Away From Home channel. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for identifying, winning, and developing new café and hospitality partnerships, helping to drive long-term growth across the business.
With a strong focus on new business acquisition, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and turning opportunities into lasting commercial success.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive new business growth across the coffee category within the Away From Home channel
- Identify, target and secure new café, hospitality and foodservice accounts
- Win and negotiate coffee supply agreements and commercial contracts
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation
- Develop newly won accounts to maximise long-term value and retention
- Create and execute your own territory and journey plan
- Deliver a strong mix of new business (70–80%) and account development (20–30%)
- Represent the business in market, building brand presence and relationships
About You
- Proven track record in new business sales, ideally within coffee, hospitality or FMCG
- Experience working with coffee brands such as Grinders, Vittoria, Nespresso or Lavazza is highly desirable
- Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to prospect, cold call and win new business
- Experience managing commercial agreements or supply contracts
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and build your own pipeline
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
