As a Business Development Executive, you’ll manage a high-impact portfolio across grocery and liquor, working with major retailers like Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
This is a dynamic, on-the-road role where no two days are the same. In addition to the core metro area surrounding Newcastle, you will spend one day/week travelling regionally (no overnighters).
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of retail accounts across Newcastle and regional NSW
- Executing in-store promotions, displays and activations
- Driving distribution, stock weight and visibility
- Building strong relationships with store and grocery managers
- Negotiating space and positioning to maximise sales outcomes
- Coaching and leading a merchandiser
- Delivering best-in-class execution across your territory
About You

You are a driven and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your territory and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
- Experience in FMCG or retail (highly regarded)
- A natural relationship builder who can influence and negotiate
- Resilient, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Hands-on and comfortable in a physically active role
- Confident using digital tools and systems
