About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join the CO-ACT team. You will provide corporate support through education, training, and development of learning materials. You will ensure nursing staff are equipped to deliver quality care, take accountability for nursing education outcomes, and align practice with policy while promoting a positive work culture for improved patient and client outcomes.
In this role, you’ll support nursing staff at CO-ACT, lead geriatric nursing education, and coordinate projects to improve education and service delivery. This is a key opportunity to drive positive change in healthcare education.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative nursing professional who thrives in an educational setting and is passionate about staff development. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality education programs.
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration experience, with proven expertise in nursing education and staff development.
- Ability to apply education principles to support and manage change, with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads.
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and quality improvement systems, along with knowledge of contemporary healthcare and nursing education issues.
