About the role
Join our dedicated Palliative Care Team, where you will provide expert nursing care to patients and their families during critical times. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering compassionate, specialist palliative care across various clinical settings. Your clinical leadership will inspire fellow nurses, and you will have the autonomy to make significant decisions that directly impact patient outcomes. Whether you’re providing direct care in the community or leading innovative projects to enhance service delivery, your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.
As you embark on this fulfilling journey, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to education initiatives within the acute care sector, primary health networks, and aged care organisations. Whether you are a Nurse Practitioner Candidate or an established Nurse Practitioner, you will continuously develop your skills through mentorship and clinical exposure. You will take ownership of your nursing practice, ensuring consistency between practice and policy while advocating for those in your care. Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Current South Australian Drivers Licence
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
