About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Music Therapist to join our team within the Older Persons Mental Health Service.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

As a Music Therapist, you will provide caring and compassionate services to consumers living with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). In this role, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions through the use of music. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group music therapy sessions, assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification in music therapy with eligibility for membership of the Australian Music Therapy Association.
