About the Role
In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality nursing care within a correctional setting, supporting a diverse and complex patient population. Working with a high degree of accountability, you will deliver patient-centred care, support less experienced staff and contribute to a safe, consistent and professional healthcare environment.
Supporting the Nursing Unit Manager, you will help coordinate nursing services, promote continuity of care and contribute to service improvement initiatives. You will also assist with workforce management, rostering, recruitment, performance development and operational planning to support the effective delivery of healthcare services.
About You
You are a confident and capable nursing professional who combines strong clinical expertise with emerging leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a complex healthcare environment.
• Registered Nurse/Midwife with NMBA registration or eligibility
• Demonstrated clinical experience and competence in practice
• Strong communication, leadership and team collaboration skills
• Prioritise workloads, solve problems and adapt to change
• Apply quality improvement principles and professional standards
