Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the Learning Strategy – Champion a future-focused development framework aligned with The Star’s leadership capabilities, Star Qualities, and vision for career progression in Table Games. 

  • Own Accreditation & Career Pathways – Drive the internal gaming accreditation process, ensuring team development is performance-based and competency-driven. 

  • Elevate Guest Experience – Monitor and enhance service delivery standards, ensuring Table Games consistently delivers exceptional guest moments. 

  • Empower Leaders – Provide tools, training, and guidance to managers to embed a culture of learning and capability building. 

  • Optimise Workforce Readiness – Partner with Workforce Planning to ensure game-type training meets operational needs and supports sustainable rostering. 

  • Deliver Data-Driven Insights – Analyse workforce metrics like turnover, absenteeism, and performance to inform strategic decisions and drive improvement. 

  • Lead a High-Impact Training Team – Mentor and manage the Games Training Team, ensuring alignment with Star Values and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Values-Driven Professional – Embodies The Star’s leadership competencies and values, with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred).
