Delta Facilities Management delivers asset management, maintenance and construction services. Due to unprecedented growth on our QLD Children's Hospital Project in South Brisbane, we are looking for an experienced Minor Works Supervisor. 

Responsible for the efficient delivery of minor project works and supervision of subcontractors. The role will include the requirement to develop and manage maintenance plans; ensure performance-based maintenance services are provided, ensuring correction of all defects and compliance with all standards and statutory requirements. This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and promotion and support of our safety culture framework.

The Position

  • Responsibility for maintenance of grounds and gardens and pest control through subcontractors. Additionally, project management of minor works across various disciplines with the support of fellow supervisors.
  • Ensure integrity and maintenance of data and specifications entered into internal databases.
  • Driving subcontractor performance to negotiated KPIs in delivering preventative and as required reactive maintenance.
  • Maintain a list of suitably qualified and approved subcontractors to perform works as required.
  • Maintain a condition assessment of the “Grounds and gardens” maintained assets.
  • Manage contractor access to site by ensuring the correct use of the Contractor pre-approval (CPA) and Job Request Authorisation (JRA) workflows.
  • With the support of the maintenance planner and fellow supervisors keep the Maintained asset list up to date.
  • Directly supervise two staff responsible for non-trade works.

The Person

  • Relevant trades qualification
  • Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills
  • Performance Management experience         
  • Experience using QFM or similar maintenance management system.
  • In line with the required legislation, a valid and current National Police check (within 3 months), and other immunisations will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.
