As a part of enthusiastic Network Team, you will be managing the Alshaya Network across all its operating locations. You will work with various teams distributed globally on the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of high-end routers and switches in a multi-vendor environment. You will be co-ordinating with Resident engineers across all regions to support on Network issues in stores/Regional office. As a part of highly skilled & motivated team, you will be showcasing high standard ownership & responsibility.

 

The Below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

Design and deploy NGFW solutions to meet organizational security requirements.

Manage and secure cloud-based network infrastructure.

Configure firewall policies, rules, and VPNs to ensure secure network access and data protection.

Provide Level2/3 support to troubleshoot by use of domain knowledge to resolve all incident and escalated network infrastructure issues.

Ensure request fulfilment follows defined standards & SLA

Monitor performance and ensure Network availability and reliability.

Monitor and maintain NGFW systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the firewall software and hardware.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.

Analyze and resolve network security incidents and breaches.

Maintain detailed documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.

Generate reports on firewall performance, security incidents, and compliance status.

Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firewall management.

Handle all the P1 escalation calls and drive technically.

Provide technical SME skills in design, development, and testing Responsible for the technical direction, issues, architecture, technical integration, and technical service levels for a group of technologies

Work with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the integration / development of compliance Reporting tool

 

Knowledge:

Overall, 5-8 Years experience in Next Generation Firewall Management.

Experience in Cloud Network Operations i.e. Azure, OCI, AWS etc.

Solid understanding of Layer 2 & 3 networking including advanced firewall configurations and the ability to troubleshoot those devices / networking issues.

Strong technical knowledge of LAN, WAN and WLAN environments.

Proven experience in network security and firewall management, preferably with Forcepoint NGFW.

Experience with Perimeter and Web Security such as Cloud Proxy.

Experience on Network management tools. 

Certification in Forcepoint, Fortinet and/or any NGFW Firewalls.

ITIL certification, as added advantage.

Experience on Python Programming would be an added advantage.

Experience with DevNetOps Principles and Framework as added advantage.
