Job Description:
Position Overview: The Employee Relations Officer will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations, handling grievances, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role is crucial in promoting a harmonious workplace and enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain employee relations policies and procedures.
- Manage employee complaints, inquiries, and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues.
- Monitor and assess trends in employee engagement and morale, and recommend improvements.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote a positive employee relations environment.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to build trust and understanding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an employee relations role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
