Job Summary: The Assistant University Registrar oversees the operational activities of a specific area within the Office of the University Registrar.
Additional Department Summary: Works independently under the direction of the Associate University Registrar. Oversees the transfer credit evaluation and processing. Serves as liaison to for the Office of the University Registrar to all campus constituents. Works closely with the colleges, departments, academic advisors and administrators to support their needs and maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of all processes. Provides ongoing training for all campus constituents on technology, procedures, and policies related to transfer credit. Maintains strict confidentiality of student records in accordance with state and federal law and UA policies and procedures.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in a higher education setting working with student academic records and related institutional policies; OR master's degree and four (4) years of experience in a higher education setting working with student academic records and related institutional policies.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a major academic institutional setting in a registrar’s office. Experience with transfer credit. Experience dealing with student academic records. One (1) year of management/supervisory work experience.
