  • Manager, Instructional Technology Support in Calabasas Campus

    Pepperdine University’s College of Health Science (PCHS) is seeking an instructional technology support manager to provide technical assistance, support, and training to faculty, staff, and learners within the College of Health Science and the PCHS Simulation and Skills Center. The manager will ensure that all PCHS academic operations function optimally to support teaching, learning, research, and assessment activities. They will also ensure that all Simulation Center IT infrastructure, audiovisual (AV) systems, and simulation technology support the achievement of PCHS programs’ educational goals and objectives. In performing their duties, the manager will support faculty, staff, and Simulation Center personnel to align technology with educational goals and compliance standards. The manager will also serve as a liaison to Pepperdine’s Instructional Technology department. The technician will be supervised by the Director of Simulation and Skills Education and also report to the Dean of the College of Health Science. The manager will be expected to work collaboratively with all PCHS faculty/staff and academic programs, as well as in all PCHS learning environments.

  • Event Manager in Calabasas Campus

    Pepperdine University’s College of Health Science (PCHS) is seeking a qualified and motivated Event Manager. The Event Manager will support the strategic planning, production, management, and execution for PCHS events related to student recruitment and admission, student ceremonies, advisory board/council meetings, orientation programs, and a wide range of student and faculty events. The position will oversee all logistical aspects of event execution, ensure consistent PCHS and Pepperdine University branding, sound fiscal management, adherence to stated timelines, and high quality outcomes. The manager will report to the Dean of the College of Health Science and be expected to work collaboratively with faculty and staff across the PCHS and University. The event manager will need to be adaptable to work evening and weekend hours, as required, to oversee all PCHS events.

    The developing Physician Assistant (PA) Program at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate to serve in a full-time staff appointment as the Director of Clinical Education role for its graduate program, the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. The director of clinical education has primary responsibility for the development, coordination, and evaluation of supervised clinical practice experiences. The director of clinical education ensures all clinical rotations meet the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accreditation standards and prepare students for clinical practice.
