    • Community Engagement Manager in Malibu Campus

      The Community Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing Pepperdine’s strategic community engagement efforts. Working closely with the Director of Community Engagement and a small advisory board of key donors, the manager supports and coordinates outreach initiatives, internal and external partnerships, event planning, sponsorships, and stakeholder communications. The incumbent also helps lay the foundation for a growing team that will support the university’s local, national, and global community engagement ambitions. The manager supports this work through frequent evening, weekend, and occasional out-of-state travel. The manager works with the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications and Partnership Office to communicate, promote, and market events and programs. Maintains current data on all community partners, conducts research, and assists in developing and identifying new community partners.

    • Assistant Director, Student Accessibility in Malibu Campus

      This position supports the University's commitment to high standards of academic excellence by working to provide accommodations for students with disabilities, while maintaining the integrity and standards of academic programs. The work of the Assistant Director contributes to the University's efforts to build a community devoted to treating every person with respect and compassion with notable inclusion for disabled students. This position furthers the work of the Executive Director in providing disability framework, administration, and direction for the Office of Student Accessibility. This role is specifically responsible for directing the accommodation processes.

    • Instructional Designer, Media in various locations

      This position, in partnership with faculty subject-matter experts (SMEs), and support staff, designs, develops, creates, deploys, and reviews media content intended for online and programs using multimodal course design. The role also supports faculty with media production, graphic design, video/audio recording, and video/audio editing services. As a member of the Center for Digital Learning, the position will implement and promote the effective use of course media, learning technologies, universal design, and instructional strategies that reflect Pepperdine University’s commitment to academic excellence.

    • Associate Dean, School of Speech-Language Pathology in Calabasas Campus

      The School of Speech-Language Pathology at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate for Associate Dean of the School of Speech-Language Pathology for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. The Associate Dean of the School of Speech-Language Pathology collaborates with the Program Director to administer the program, particularly in coordinating the admissions process with the Dean of Enrollment, ensuring course quality, managing the students' onsite immersive learning experiences, and coordinating with college personnel on student affairs. The successful candidate will have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), earned CCC-SLP, 3+ years' experience working with SLP academic programs, strong administrative skill set, and demonstrated commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include an established research agenda or plan (including but not limited to previous publications, grant funding, and/or presentations at conferences), and experience with online teaching, admissions processes, and student mentorship.

    • Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty, School of Nursing in various locations

      The School of Nursing at Pepperdine University seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor for its developing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Entry Level Master’s Degree in Nursing (ELM) programs. Successful candidates should have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), and commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include successful experience teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing students. As a new program, we seek faculty in one or more of the following specialty areas: pathopharmacology, adult medical/surgical, pediatrics, gerontology, obstetrics, behavioral/mental health, community/population nursing, and clinical foundations/reasoning. Clinical expertise in one of the specialty areas and/or simulation is preferred. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a clear and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
