The Associate Director of Athletics serves the Department of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation in the Division of Student Affairs. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and supports the mission of the College in its focus on student development, outcomes and success. The Kenyon College Bookstore seeks an energetic and outgoing part-time Customer Service and Sales Associate. This position alerts the Manager on duty of any customer concerns and presents opportunities for improving sales and services. This position provides assistance to trainees and new hires when the Manager or Supervisor is not available. The hourly rate of pay for this part-time position is $12.42. Visiting Assistant Professor of African History in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor in African History, beginning July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will teach both survey and upper-level seminar courses with an emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa. The visitor will also benefit from Kenyon students’ passionate interest in the humanities and strengthen their credentials with a year of teaching at Kenyon. Candidates should have a record of excellent teaching and a Ph.D. in hand or be near completion by the beginning of the appointment. Fulltime Custodian in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a full-time custodian to perform a wide variety of tasks. Working independently or as a member of a team to maintain college buildings and facilities free of hazards and presenting a neat, clean appearance. Applicants must be able to work any shift, Monday thru Sunday. Starting wage is $15.50/hour with an increase to $18.15/hour after successfully completing a probationary period of 60 workdays. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Lift, carry and move materials, supplies, furniture in a safe and careful manner. Use various hand and/or power cleaning equipment such as: dust and scrub mops, vacuum cleaners, buffer/floor polishers and carpet shampoo/extractor equipment, use of a step ladder and snow removal equipment. Use various chemicals and cleaning products in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and material safety data sheets. The ability to clean toilet fixtures and showers. Perform various other tasks/duties as assigned by a supervisor.
