The Political Science Department and Environmental Studies Department at Kenyon College invite applications for a tenure-track position beginning July 1, 2027. Qualified applicants will have a strong teaching and research background in comparative politics, environmental politics, and international relations. The successful candidate would be appointed in both Political Science (60%) and Environmental Studies (40%), teach established courses in the curricula of both departments, and contribute upper-level courses on environmental politics and policy in their areas of expertise. We will prioritize candidates with a strong record of teaching and research; a commitment to student advising and mentorship; and plans to incorporate student researchers into their research.
