JOB SUMMARY |
Health Profession Student Mentors are important members of the academic team that advise high school students interested in pursuing healthcare professional careers. Mentors work collectively with program instructors to provide relevant assistance per the grade level of the students participating in experiences such as:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
Health Profession Student Mentors will ensure a progressively collegiate focus to the student experience schedule. Mentors must be enrolled as health profession students in the Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences, be in good academic standing, and demonstrate the following:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS |
Must be enrolled in a health professions graduate program |
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS |
Experience and/or interest in teaching and mentoring K-12 school aged students |
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS |
The program operates during the academic year (Fall and Spring). Fall and Spring sessions are one weekday per month between 8:00 am to 2:00pm. Note: Academic Year weekday school hours are adjusted as needed per school. |
