  • Office location – Parramatta, other NSW locations negotiable
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $110,266 to $122,058 + super

  

The role

The Communications Officer provides specialist expertise to develop, distribute and manage a range of communications content for interment sector operators, customers, stakeholders and the public to expand the organisations’ regulatory presence and reach.

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience in creating engaging communications content to meet the wide-ranging information needs of internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of website and social media channels, ensuring that content is current and accurate and meets stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in relation to complex issues, with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Considerable planning and organisational ability, in particular, the ability to assess the importance and urgency of tasks in relation to competing interests and timelines.
  • Experience in cemeteries is highly regarded.

 

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant qualifications, and/or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in communications, engagement with varying stakeholders, communities or related disciplines.
