Schedule: 20 hours a week max. Hours vary per school schedule. We are open Monday - Thursday, from 8am to 9pm, and Friday, from 8am - 5pm.
Location: East Hall, 85 E Delaware Avenue, 2nd floor
About the department / center:
We are UMS Classroom Technology and we support about 170 classrooms on campus. We use Crestron fusion to log into the rooms to provide faculty support from our office. If we cannot resolve the issue over the phone, we go out to the room to assist.
Role Description:
Call center support: The Department of Classroom Technology is seeking responsible and motivated undergraduate students to assist faculty with classroom support. Primary duties include answering phone inquiries, collaborating with faculty and staff to facilitate device setup in classrooms, transporting cables and batteries to relevant rooms, demonstrating connection procedures, and assisting technicians with classroom room checks to make sure all rooms are running smoothly.
