About the Role
Provide technical leadership and Governance for Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms. The CCM Platform Technical Lead position is a recognised expert within the team supporting the enterprise CCM portfolio. This position applies deep broad technical knowledge of technology and industry trends for CCM systems.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a CCM Platform Technical Lead you will:
• Collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders and ensure that quality assurance and complaint / review processes are effectively managed
• Provide technical leadership and utilizes technology trends to educate the business and development team on leading-edge technology alternatives and provide advice on design. 
• Collaborate with other architects, the technology delivery team and the technology infrastructure team to define architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems in the portfolio and recommend how to proceed with the applications.
• Work with and support solution architects with the architecture design. Ensure the integration of the data and information components of the solution, and the alignment of resources to the enterprise strategy and architectures.  
• Create and maintain platform best practices, address business, application, data, technology and templates in the context of business processes across the platform.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers and the business to ensure the successful execution of large, complex development projects. 
• Liaise with the Technology Platforms Manager to develop operational readiness strategies, assess business impacts for new requirements, Identify and address technical or operational risks, develop roadmaps and planning for upgrades and deliver presentations to the leadership team. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert in enterprise content management, be an advisory role for management and leadership on best practices for documents, workflow, retention and disposition.
• Developing and maintaining CCM design patterns, overseeing the development of templates, migration of existing templates, and other components and overseeing performance and security testing of CCM application modules and interfaces.
• Identify emerging trends, thought leadership in software development and introduce these to the project as well as the enterprise.
 
Skills & Experience 
• Extensive experience application development and or implementation experience. 
• Demonstrated experience towards design and development of medium to large scale CCM or technology deployments. 
• Experience as a technical lead for CCM technologies and primarily OpenText Cloud Edition (CE) suite of tools including Exstream Design Manager, Empower Editor, Orchestrator and Notifications Centre.
• A broad range of hands-on experience with architecture, design, development, Integration experience around CCM applications and web services XML and Schema.
• Ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution.
• Experience as a technical lead within CCM enabled applications in shared environments, guiding technology and business groups through on boarding processes.
• Able to provide insight into digital trends and their application within the insurance sector. 
• Able to communicate technology concepts to businesspeople with a focus on business value and benefit.
