What’s great about the role?
You’ll be part of our transactions team, getting involved in:
- Processing invoices and managing payment runs
- Reconciling statements, raising invoices, and allocating payments
- Supporting credit control and handling bank reconciliations
- Assisting with management accounts and statutory reporting
This is a fixed term contract for two years, with full study support for your AAT Level 3 qualification.
Where does this role fit in?
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Finance team to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently, directly contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
What skills and experience do you need?
We’re looking for someone with:
- A positive, proactive approach to learning
- Enthusiasm for numbers and data
- Strong IT and Excel skills
- The ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Appropriate level of numeracy
- Appropriate Excel skills
What are the pay and benefits?
- This is a Full time, fixed term finance apprenticeship for 2 years. The salary is £23,490
- You will study your AAT qualification. Therefore, it is not suitable for those who have already attained AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
- You will have 1 day a week for study and this will be based in either Cardiff or Swansea. You will complete both study hours and working hours of 37 hours a week
- The majority of our Finance team work from home and attend our Swansea office for team meetings, once to twice a month.
