Department Overview: 

Aston Martin Financial services provides global retail and wholesale finance facilities to Aston Martin dealers to help them sell the cars and for our customers to have the best options available to buy them.

Job Purpose: 

The role is to support the global development of Aston Martin Financial Services through supporting residual value management, provision of meaningful reporting, leading the digitisation of AMFS’ services and working with our selected partners to improve processes and customer led outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage the residual value relationships in the UK with CAP and Lloyds Bank, including used car sales analysis and the controlled provision of data to those partners along with residual value analysis to the AMFS, regional and central Commercial teams;
• Provide analysis and insight to the product team in relation to the effect of new models and options;
• Project manage (on behalf of AMFS interests) the digital marketing and digitization of customer facing FS processes;
• Provision of monthly performance reporting at regional and global levels;
• Manage the finance partners in required markets as requested including any indirect management of partners dealer facing teams.

Experience and Qualifications: 

Essential: 

• Proven understanding of the sales process within a dealership for new and used cars;
• Proven ability to gather and analyse significant amounts of data and clearly communicate the findings;
• Ability to manage projects directly or indirectly

Preferred: 

• Knowledge of automotive finance processes e.g underwriting ;
• Understanding of compliance processes
• Financially literate e.g can read a balance sheet / understand the components of a finance deal
• Understanding residual value forecasting principles and processes
• High level of competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Degree

Additional Requirements: 

Some travel may be required to support the global finance partners or to progress any agreed projects. A driving licence and passport will be required
